Frequently Asked Questions
Starting something new on your Movement Journey usually comes with a few "what-ifs." Here’s what to expect:
Absolutely. This class is titled "Fundamentals" for a reason. We don't start with high-impact jumps or flips. We start with "ground-based" movements—crawling, balancing, and low-risk coordination drills and then move from there to more dynamic abilities. We specialize in scaling every exercise to fit your current ability level.
Our curriculum prioritizes longevity and safety. You’ll learn proper landing and jumping mechanics (to save your knees) and mobility drills (to unlock your back and hips). Prehab is written into the DNA of this class, and with years of experience in movement arts, we know how to help you avoid the most common pitfalls.
Nope. Overall fitness is a result of the class, not a prerequisite. If you can't touch your toes today, that's fine. We use our system of dynamic mobility to increase your range of motion over time in a way that enables you to move better and without pain.
